As proof of the confidence we have in the quality of every Volkswagen, we offer a comprehensive list of warranties. In the unlikely event that you encounter a problem with your Volkswagen, we'll ensure it gets the care and attention it deserves.
Warranty

3-year or 100,000km comprehensive warranty

All Volkswagen vehicles come with a three year or 100,000km (whichever comes first) warranty that protects your vehicle against possible failure, mechanical and/or electrical components due to manufacturing or workmanship defects.

3-year paint warranty

All Volkswagen vehicles come with a three year paintwork warranty against manufacturing defects.

12-year body protection warranty

The internal body sections and panels of your Volkswagen are covered against rusting through from the inside for a period of twelve years.
6-month or 10,000km wear and tear warranty

6-month or 10,000km wear and tear warranty

Wear and tear items are covered by a 6 month or 10,000km (whichever comes first) warranty against manufacturing defects.
Please note:
No warranty obligations exist if
- the buyer fails to service and maintain the vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and specifications;
- the fault or damage is caused by failure to take all reasonable steps to prevent mechanical damage from occurring, for example, taking appropriate action in the event of warning lights appearing;
- the fault or damage is caused by external influences such as accident damage, climatic, thermal, chemical or industrial pollution, stones chips, insufficient service and maintenance and so on; and/or
- the fault or damage is caused by any parts, accessories installed on or treatment to the vehicle which are not recommended by or purchased from the authorised Volkswagen dealer in Singapore.

Volkswagen will not be held liable for any damage caused by technical modifications and/or work performed incorrectly, for example, chip tuning. We recommend that all repairs and technical modifications be performed by an authorised Volkswagen workshop using Volkswagen Genuine Parts®.
