TDI Engine
The TDI engines are particularly efficient thanks to a combination of a small displacement, turbocharging and direct injection. Accurate injection processes under high pressure ensure that fuel is burned evenly, resulting in high performance at low fuel consumption. The efficiency of these engines is further supported by the low maintenance costs. A 2.0 l TDI engine with 150 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque is available for the Transporter.
7-speed dual clutch gearbox DSG
The modern dual clutch gearbox is capable of changing gears with no interruption in power flow. When the gearbox is in manual mode, the instrument panel gives the driver a gear recommendation for a particularly fuel-efficient driving style. In conjunction with BlueMotion Technology and the multifunction display, the DSG includes a freewheel function: when the driver takes his or her foot off the accelerator, the engine is temporarily disengaged to save fuel.
Euro 6 emissions standard
The Transporter features the latest generation 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine which complies with the Euro 6 emissions standard. A separate tank of AdBlue is installed directly next to the engine, and the liquid urea solution is injected into the exhaust gas flow during the selective catalytic reduction process. This reduces the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) by 75% under all of the vehicle's operating states. AdBlue refills are free during the period of warranty.

Start/stop system
The start/stop system automatically turns the engine off when the vehicle is in neutral - for example, when stopping at a red light. To resume driving, all you have to do is press the accelerator again to restart the engine.
Regenerative braking
Thanks to special energy management software, the voltage in the alternator is boosted when the vehicle coasts or brakes. This ensures that the vehicle's battery is recharged and relieves the strain on the engine, which leads to a reduction in fuel consumption. Furthermore, it enables the alternator's voltage to be reduced whilst driving.
Low rolling resistant tyres
The Transporter Delivery Van with BlueMotion Technology achieves ground contact with low rolling resistant tyres. The lower roll resistance reduces fuel consumption, which also leads to less CO₂ emissions.
Interior

Load compartment
The generously sized load compartment of the Transporter has outstanding functionality and versatility. The Transporter T30 has a cargo width of 1,700 mm - this makes for an impressive load bed area of 4.3m² and a cargo volume of 5.8m³ to help to save time and effort when loading and unloading.
Deluxe seats
The seats for the driver and front passenger are available with height adjustment, armrests and lumbar support, ensuring a comfortable drive and better back care.

Air conditioning
"Climatic" air conditioning system and heating for seats. The semi-automatic air conditioning system has a sensor that constantly compares the interior temperature with the set temperature. It can be individually adjusted to meet the climate requirements.
Bluetooth hands-free system “Touch Phone Kit”
The hands-free system enables you to make calls safely even when on the move thanks to the touchscreen and voice control system.
Floor coverings
The load compartment of the Transporter can be fitted with either a robust wooden floor with a non-slip surface or with a washable rubber floor covering with practical loading edge protective trim and step lighting.

Rear wing doors
Rear wing doors are available on the Transporter, and they can also be fitted with luggage nets. The doors open up to 1800, and a 2500 opening is optionally available.

Whether you have to drive out to building sites or on main roads and motorways every day, you should have optimal protection. This applies to all areas of work and to the Transporter as well. Many modern safety systems therefore guard against unpleasant situations.
Safety built-in as standard
Part of the standard equipment in the Transporter Delivery Van: the Electronic Stabilisation Programme incl. electronic differential lock (EDL). The electronics can prevent the vehicle from breaking away through controlled intervention in the brake and engine management. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) prevents complete wheel lock and therefore significantly improves the vehicle's manoeuvrability when full braking is applied. The electronic brake pressure distribution (EBD) prevents the rear wheels from locking when the vehicle weight is transferred to the front wheels during braking.
