Singapore - Volkswagen Singapore is pleased to announce the commencement of pre-sale online reservations for the much-anticipated ID.4 and ID.5 electric vehicle (EV) range. 

Prospective buyers can secure their reservations now, with indicative prices of the ID.4 starting at $129,900, the dynamic ID.4 GTX at $152,900, the sophisticated ID.5 at $139,900, and the powerful ID.5 GTX at $162,900 (excluding COE). To offer a firsthand experience, the ID.4 Pro and ID.4 GTX models are currently on display at VivoCity Central Court 1, open for public viewing until 14 January 2024.

ID.4 Pro: Leading efficiency and long-range capability
The ID.4 Pro, Volkswagen's inaugural fully electric SUV, boasts zero local emissions and is produced with a carbon-neutral balance. Featuring a 77-kWh battery, it delivers an outstanding range of up to 550 km (WLTP). The strategically positioned battery below the passenger compartment ensures a low centre of gravity, complemented by a rear axle electric drive motor generating 210 kW (286 PS). With a maximum 135 kW charging capacity, the ID.4 Pro achieves an 80% recharge in just 33 minutes.

Built on the modular electric drive matrix (MEB) architecture, the ID.4 Pro maximises interior space for passengers. The exterior, with athletic proportions and a drag coefficient of 0.28, comes in seven contemporary colours. Deliveries for the ID.4 series are anticipated in May 2024.

ID.4 GTX: Dynamic driving, robust design
Sharing the same 77 kWh battery, the ID.4 GTX offers an impressive range of up to 515 km, with a rapid 26-minute recharge from 10% to 80%. Equipped with dual electric drive motors, it delivers a combined 250 kW (340 PS), marking a premiere for the ID. family with an electric all-wheel drive. The sporty design is accentuated by dynamic elements, including a distinctive light strip at the front. The ID.4 GTX is available in six distinctive colours.

Both ID.4 models incorporate Volkswagen's comprehensive safety systems, including Side Assist, Park Assist Plus, Lane Assist, Emergency Assist, and Front Assist with city emergency braking.

ID.5 Pro: The electric SUV coupé
Available for pre-order, the ID.5 Pro and ID.5 GTX are expected for delivery in May 2024. The ID.5 series combines expressive design with a lounge-style spaciousness, featuring short overhangs that create an emotional coupé design.

Like the ID.4 range, the ID.5 Pro sits on Volkswagen's MEB architecture, running on a 77-kWh battery and a rear-mounted electric drive motor with 210 kW (286 PS). With a class-leading range of up to 556 km (WLTP) and a lower drag coefficient of 0.26 (or 0.27 in the ID.5 GTX), the ID.5 Pro maintains versatility and flexibility despite its dramatic roofline.

ID.5 GTX: Power meets elegance
The ID.5 GTX, equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system and a long-distance- capable battery, delivers a maximum power of up to 250 kW (340 PS) and a range of up to 533 km. Quick recharging from 10% to 80% in 26 minutes is possible with a maximum charging power of 175 kW. The powerful and elegant design of the ID.5 GTX is available in six distinctive colours.

Both the ID.5 Pro and ID.5 GTX feature a comprehensive suite of Volkswagen's safety systems, including Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert, Park Assist Plus with Park Distance Control, Lane Assist, Emergency Assist, and Front Assist with city emergency braking.
