Technology
In the Caddy, you will find a generation of engines that captivate with their impressively smooth running and fuel savings. Every single engine is supplied with BlueMotion Technology as standard and is compliant with the Euro 6 emissions standards. Power transmission to the front wheels is the task of the smooth-running 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox DSG.
TDI Engine
The fourth generation of the Volkswagen Caddy continues to outshine its counterparts with an improved fuel efficiency compared to the previous generation (5.0L / 100km in the combined driving cycle). This also translates to lower running costs, which is a key factor for fleet owners. Both the Caddy and Caddy Maxi come with a 2.0-litre TDI engine. It offers 102 PS of power and a class-leading torque output of 250 Nm.
Euro 6 emissions standard
The 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine on the Caddy complies with the Euro 6 emissions standard. A separate tank of AdBlue is installed directly next to the engine, and the liquid urea solution is injected into the exhaust gas flow during the selective catalytic reduction process. This reduces the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) by 75% under all of the vehicle's operating states. AdBlue refills are free during the period of warranty.

Form and function come together in the Caddy, with its clean layout and ergonomically designed interior.
Roof shelf
A spacious roof shelf is located directly above the driver and passenger seats, where it is possible to store larger objects.
Lashing eyes
The optimised chassis of the Caddy is perfectly tailored to the needs of day-to-day work. There are six lashing eyes in the load compartment of the Caddy and eight in the Caddy Maxi to safely secure loads.
Safety
To ensure that every drive ends as stress-free as it begins, the Caddy is equipped with various safety systems, which are activated in critical situations as a preventative measure.
Automatic Post-Collision Braking System
Triggers braking after a collision, with the aim of preventing secondary collisions. The Automatic Post-Collision Braking System activates when two independent sensors detect an accident. After a short delay, the vehicle begins a phased braking action down to 10 km/h, during which the driver can take over at any time.
Brake assist system
Registers the speed at which the brake pedal is pressed. During a reflexive or emergency braking action, it ensures that full brake pressure is built up more quickly.
Seat belt warning
If their seat belts are not fastened, the seat belt warning reminds the driver and, for the first time, the front passenger to fasten their belts with a visual warning when the engine is started, and an acoustic warning after setting off.

Electronic Stabilisation Programme
It prevents under- or over-steering via targeted braking of individual wheels¹.
Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
Shortens braking distance while maintaining steering power¹.
Traction control system (TCS)
Prevents wheelspin.
Electronic differential lock (EDL)
Distributes the engine's torque to the tyres without slippage¹.
Comfort
The Caddy offers you multiple comfort highlights to choose from, which makes the driving experience even more enjoyable.
Air conditioning
The semi-automatic air conditioning has an infinite adjustment so that a pleasant interior temperature can be ensured at all times. Thanks to ergonomic buttons and knobs, the temperature in degrees, air distribution, and fan speed can be easily regulated while driving.
Electric window
The flip switches are comfortably located within easy reach in the armrest on the door interiors, and have a comfort switch with jamming protector.
12V sockets
A 12V socket is located in the easily accessible front area of the central console, and can be used for e. g. mobile phones or notebooks.
Infotainment
Innovative radio systems of the latest generation impress with their intuitive control and excellent sound.
“Composition Colour” radio system
The system consists of a 12.7 cm (5 inch) TFT colour display, an MP3- and WMA-compatible CD drive, a 4 x 20 watt output with six loudspeakers¹, an SD-card slot, and AUX-IN interface, and a dual tuner with phase diversity for optimal radio reception. A Bluetooth connection for mobile phone is optionally available.
