ACC & Front Assist
Im Straßenverkehr ist es beruhigend, wenn man ausreichend Abstand zum
vorausfahrenden Fahrzeug hat. Die auf Wunsch erhältliche automatische
Distanzregelung ACC unterstützt Sie dabei.
ACC misst die Entfernung und die Geschwindigkeit vorausfahrender Fahrzeuge. In
Kolonnen und Staus bremst das System Ihren Golf Variant in Verbindung mit dem
optionalen Doppelkupplungsgetriebe DSG bis zum Stillstand ab und fährt innerhalb
kurzer Zeit auch wieder automatisch an. Das System kann Ihr Fahrzeug im Rahmen
seiner Grenzen bei einer Geschwindigkeit von bis zu 210 km/h auf Abstand zum
Vordermann halten.
Manchmal passiert etwas Unvorhergesehenes, sodass eine Notbremsung erforderlich
ist. In solchen Fällen kann das optionale Umfeldbeobachtungssystem "Front Assist"
behilflich sein. Wird eine kritische Auffahrsituation im Rahmen der Systemgrenzen
erkannt, werden Sie gewarnt. In besonders kritischen Situationen kann Sie das
System beim Bremsen unterstützen oder sogar automatisch bremsen, um die
Aufprallgeschwindigkeit zu reduzieren.
Die City-Notbremsfunktion kann im Stadtverkehr bei niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten
eingreifen. Und die Fußgängererkennung kann im Rahmen der Grenzen des Systems
wahrnehmen, wenn zum Beispiel ein Fußgänger unvermittelt auf die Fahrbahn tritt.
Das Assistenzsystem warnt Sie, hilft Ihnen beim Bremsen oder bremst selbsttätig ab
- immer im Rahmen der Systemgrenzen. So kann im Idealfall eine Kollision ganz
vermieden oder zumindest deren Schwere gemindert werden.
