Stauassistent
Der optionale Stauassistent nutzt bewährte Funktionen wie die automatische
Distanzregelung ACC und den Spurhalteassistenten "Lane Assist", um ein komfortables
Folgefahren im Stau zu ermöglichen. So folgt Ihr Golf Variant dem vorausfahrenden
Fahrzeug und steuert Gas und Bremse im Rahmen der Grenzen des Systems selbsttätig.
Dabei wird das Fahrzeug in der Spur gehalten.
Der optionale "Emergency Assist" kommt automatisch zum Einsatz, wenn keine
Aktivität des Fahrers festgestellt werden kann und trotz Warnung keine Reaktion
erfolgt. Dann versucht das System, durch Bremsrucke, Warntöne, Warnblinken und
Pendeln in der eigenen Spur sowohl den Fahrer zu reaktivieren, als auch die
Mitfahrer und andere Verkehrsteilnehmer zu warnen. Findet immer noch keine
Übernahme der Fahrzeugsteuerung statt, wird das Fahrzeug kontrolliert zum
Stillstand gebracht. Ein Unfall kann so im Rahmen der Systemgrenzen verhindert
werden.
Stauassistent und "Emergency Assist" sind Teil des Fahrerassistenz-Pakets.
Die Initiative "Deutschland - Land der Ideen" und das Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur haben den "Emergency Assist" mit dem "Deutschen Mobilitätspreis 2017" ausgezeichnet.
